Description

All the paintings are painted on a specially prepared canvas, attached to strong wood stretchers,
using burlap on top of the traditional canvas . Four layers of white preparation with natural glue
create a tight solid tambour final effect which is perfect to painting on.
This antique system of preparation, which was refined by the artist, gives the canvas
for him the sensibilities to respond and hold his thick knife and brush textures with
complete resistance to cracking and durability in time.

Each painting is unique in its own way, painted there on the spot, transmitting that
moment of light that is special to anyone who comes to Tuscany.
